Elwood the Dog needs a home
Elwood As many of ARC's followers and supporters know, we often work with other rescues around the country when disasters strike, and animals need help. This handsome boy came to us from Brother Wolf Animal Rescue in the Carolinas. We have coordinated 'mass intakes' with this agency during hurricane season two years running.
Elwood is a beautiful, affectionate, playful dog. He is great with other dogs, kids and adults. He is very high energy, and loves to play.
He did come to us testing positive for heartworms. As of March 2017, he is nearly complete with treatment to rid him of this horrible disease. We will update his bio as soon as he is ready for adoption!
Update! Elwood has cleared heartworm treatment, and is ready to find his forever home!
